WELCOME TO THE BELGRAVE ALLOTMENT SOCIETY
Gardeners have been growing their own food for centuries. Where once it was the only way to provide food for the table, today discerning gardeners choose to grow their own food for the health benefits involved.
It's not just about healthy eating, gardening and vegetable growing is a healthy way to exercise in the fresh air too.
Being in control of exactly what you grow and how you treat it is also a prime consideration. When you grow your own food you can select your vegetables according to the likes and dislikes of your family. You can pick the choice varieties that command premium prices in the shops and always have a fresh supply of something in your garden.
You can choose to grow Organic or use chemical controls to keep your crops in tip-top condition. You are free to make your own choices.
Everyone is welcome irrespective of race, colour, religion, ethnic origin or sexual oreintation.
All your committee ask is that you follow a few common sense rules and above all, Enjoy Gardening.
