Welcome to Redhill Allotments!

We've reached that time of year when people are becoming few and far between on the site and so yet another year is almost at a close!
Demand for work on the plots has dropped off and peoples priorities change, but behind the scenes things are still going on. Not only are individuals ordering and prepping for the coming year but meetings are going on trying to plan forthcoming events and investments for the site as a whole.
If you have any thoughts for events in the coming year, things you would like to see or be done on site or have any general suggetsions feel free to email us or drop a note in the suggestion box by the notice board.
This time of year also gives us chance to work on updating the website, and as well as suggestions we would more than welcome articles, features, photos and other material to publish.

After a phenomenal effort from plot holders off Redhill and other sites within the Belgrave Allotment Society fantastic progress has been made in pushing the site forward - thank you all.
Sites cleared, plots let and an increase in social events both on and off site (thanks also need to go to Leicester City Council, especially Vince Edwards, for the support they have provided particularly with regard to the new security fencing installed around the site).

The upshot of all this is a secure, friendly site all within the catchment area of Leicester city. People of all ages, races and abilities with one common goal - VEG! Healthy, homegrown and in many cases, organic.
If there is anyone out there looking to join this evergrowing band of allotmenteers there are still a few plots available, but please be quick as places are limited, although we do hold a growing waiting list for potential members.
